Holidays (Easter Sunday) Amendment Bill

The Parliament of New Zealand enacts as follows:

1. Title
This Act is the Holidays (Easter Sunday) Amendment Act 2009.

2. Commencement
This Act comes into force on the day after the date on which it received the Royal Assent.

3. Principal Act Amended
This Act amends the Holidays Act 2003.

4. Easter Sunday a Public Holiday
Section 44 (1) of the Principal Act is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(l) Easter Sunday
